You will find improvements with this therapy within 2 weeks of starting it. If the lemon juice proves to be too strong even after dilution, wash it after 10 minutes’ of application.
Oral use of lemon juice for combating acne.
It is also possible to take lemon juice orally for internal cleansing and detoxifying of the liver. It also helps in the absorption of important vitamins and minerals as this is one of the healthiest drinks for the skin and body.

Types of lemon juice
Lemon juice can be made in two ways. The first way is to squeeze a lemon into a glass or bottle and add 2 cups of water to it. This juice has to be drunk throughout the day.
The second variety of lemon juice involves squeezing a lemon into 8 oz. of boiled or filtered water. This juice has to be drunk first thing in the morning after which nothing should be drunk or eaten for half an hour so that the juice cleanses the body. This lemon juice remedy is not advised if you have ulcers, allergies or arthritis.
